Todd Farm Flea Market. Asked $30. Bought for $25. Best part is there was 9 pics in its belly just waiting to be fired. I'm ecstatic. Polaroid film too, not Impossible project.

SX-70 new one
Just met with Lew from craigslist and scooped up a SX-70 Sonar OneStep for $60. Included the automatic timer, a flashbar and a great carrying case. Also an unopened pack of Timezero film, which might be useless at this point, but might fetch something on Ebay from a collector.

Crane Estate
The Crane Estate in Ipswich had its annual open house this weekend. It's a pretty magnificient building. We didn't go in this year but the tour we took last year was breath-taking. We just walked around the grounds and brought food for a picnic. Took this next picture on the Polaroid Land 100 on Fujifilm FP-100c film.
I've been thinking of cropping my scans of my polaroid pics. Not sure. I really like having the boarders on them but my fear is it might distract people from the subject of the picture? "Oooh a polaroid." Rather than "Oh, look. A mediocre snapshot of a gigantic house." Then again, if that's the case at least the border is getting it at least some attention.

Stay classy 1%
Flipping through a Playbill for Cats from 1984 (Shubert Theater/Boston) and
came across this tasty little ad for BayBanks. Which I believe turned into Bank Boston before it was swallowed whole by Fleet Bank which was then purchased by Bank of America.
Anyway, this ad makes debt so appealing I almost wish I was drowning in it again.
Not.

Polaroid OneStep SX-70 w/Q-Flash
$20
Flash battery compartment was all sorts of junked up with corrosion, complete with four exploded copper-tops. Cleaned it up as best I could and finally got the flash firing. Cameras internals look very clean. No extra film to find out right now, but my birthday's next month so...

May 4th. Star Wars Day.
While most of you all are celebrating Star Wars Day, I'll be joining George Lucas in what we call "the laughing at everyone else day." It's at the local Denny's. George picks up the bill. I remind him to go easy on the salt.
